Tour of Homes
Throughout the years, the building has been altered to fit the needs of the homeowners
I was born and raised in Atlanta. During my early childhood years, I was fascinated with real estate, home construction and land development due to being a son of a real estate agent/mortgage broker. As an Atlanta product, I have always loved and enjoyed intown living. Our great city has provided a blank canvas for many citizens to build, live, work and play. I purchased my home in Lake Claire in 2013.
The house was built in 1914. It was originally built as an American foursquare two-story home. Throughout the years, the building has been altered to fit the needs of the homeowners. When I purchased my home, it was a three-story triplex that had been vacant for several years. The home roof line looked like the Titanic ship. I converted the home roof line back to its original state. Also, I had to take the house back to it bones to resuscitate it.
I performed a major renovation by adding a breakfast area, mudroom and a sleeping porch to the home. I restored the hardwood floors, front windows and five fireplaces. As part of the renovation, I transformed the kitchen into a chef’s kitchen, and installed all new mechanicals and bathrooms.
